Place all of the ingredients in a Crock-Pot/slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 24 hours. Halfway through, I break up the bones so the marrow can leak out.

When the broth is done cooking, place a strainer over a large pot and pour the soup over the strainer. What you’re left with is a healthy broth that can be consumed any time of the day.

NOTES

Bone broth is high in histamines, so if you struggle with histamine levels, skip the bones in this recipe. Try boiling chicken breasts/boneless chicken parts instead to get the beneficial amino acids.

Bone broth isn’t high-oxalate, but it’s rich in glycine and other aminos. Because these can convert to oxalate, it should be used cautiously and in smaller servings
